Browsing the NFL menu. Rams (4-1) and 49ers (2-3) renew their rivalry in San Fran. Niners are coming off a stunning 43-17 loss to the Dolphins and are 0-3 at home. Rams have played well on both sides of the ball and Jared Goff loved watching tape from last week’s Niners game. Taking the Rams (-3) for 10 units.
Needed both, got one. Dodgers survived. Corey Seager and Justin Turner homered off Max Fried in the opening frame and L.A. held on to win 3-1. Walker Buehler threw six shutout innings. … It was fun while it lasted. The Astros with a chance to be the first team since the ’04 Red Sox to come back from an 0-3 hole, couldn’t finish the job. Lost Game 7 by a score of 4-2. Rays jumped starter Lance McCullers early. Split, but lost our series bet on the ’Stros. Down -1,278 valenzuelas.
