EXCLUSIVE: Fox Entertainment is including Ocean Village to its animation growth slate. The community has given a script dedication to the venture, from creator Daniel Cardenas Katz (Deep Space 69), and has ordered a backup script plus animatic (animated presentation.
Written by Katz, with Tim Saccardo (American Dad!, Community) supervising, Ocean Village follows the Diaz household as they navigate life in a sun-baked tropical village based mostly on the Florida island the place sequence creator Katz grew up, and skilled his first iguana assault. Ocean Village was initially commissioned by Blue Ant Studios and was in growth at Hulu. The completed pilot script was pitched to Fox, which took it in for redevelopment and has now commissioned a second script, together with a presentation.
Fox is within the midst of a serious growth of its animation portfolio with 5 returning sequence, veterans The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers and freshmen Bless the Harts and Duncanville, which might be joined by The Great North and Housebroken subsequent season and a brand new Dan Harmon sequence, now within the works.
